WESTEROS – And another one bites the dust.
HBO’s “Game of Thrones” has long been known for ripping our hearts out and stomping on them, and it did so once again during the premiere of the penultimate season 7 episode “Beyond the Wall.”
That’s when The Night King took down Viserion, one of Daenerys three dragons, with the mother of all spear throws.
The tragic event occurred when The Night King’s army of wights surrounded Jon Snow and Co., trapping them on a small island in the middle of a frozen lake. Just as death was imminent, The Mother of Dragons rode in to save the day, but one of her children wasn’t lucky enough to escape the battle unharmed.
As you might expect, the internet lost it when Viserion, leaking blood, crashed into the frozen lake dead. Fans lost is even more when that same dragon was reanimated as an undead, ice dragon with glowing blue eyes. Here is a look at some of the reaction.
