Workshop on responsive web design and MS-Excel

Ludhiana:

The department of computer science of the Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, had organised an intensive training workshop on responsive web design and development, using WordPress, from June 10 to 20. The workshop saw a participation of 33 students from the college.

The workshop was organised under the Skill Development Programme of the college. This programme was initiated by the college to provide skill training and support to the students in order to raise their confidence, improve productivity and channelise their skills for job opportunities.

Meanwhile, the postgraduate department of commerce of the college had organised a 10-day workshop on mastering MS-Excel and Tally from June 10 to 19. As many as 30 students participated in the workshop, which was also organised under the Skill Development Programme of the college.

MSc-IT Sem-IV results

Students of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, once again have proved their mettle in MSc-IT Sem-IV examinations, results of which were declared by Panjab University, Chandigarh. Aarti Thakur bagged seventh position in the university by scoring 88.4 per cent marks . All students have secured first division.
